At the entry lane
Unitec entry and payment systems for self-serve, express and fleet lanes
Every entry system DMI offers is manufactured by Unitec, from touch-screen pay stations for an express exterior wash to dealer-lane access control and loyalty programs.
Chapter 01
Sentinel and Portal TI: the pay station an operator builds volume on
Unitec calls it simply, 'the car wash starts here,' and for most sites the entry system is the first thing a customer touches. The Sentinel is a touch-screen based payment system built to simplify the transaction and speed throughput, which Unitec positions as the ideal fit for an express exterior car wash. Portal TI goes further, layering interactive marketing options, secure payment technology and remote management capabilities into the same lane, making it a strong choice as a full automated payment system.
Both systems pair with Unitec's ReachFree ID: a secure, subscription-based customer account program built to build volume and increase throughput on a Sentinel or Portal TI install.

C-Start, Wash Select II and WashPay: built for c-stores and one merchant account
C-Start is a cashless unit built for c-store and petroleum market operators who want to collect payment by credit card or wash code while running a full marketing program. Wash Select II is, in Unitec's own words, the workhorse of car wash entry systems and one of the most secure payment stations on the market, and the Wash Select II POS variant is the complete solution for retail sites like convenience stores and gas stations.
WashPay lets an operator accept credit at the self-serve bays and tie the automatic bays into the same system, resulting in lower costs on a single merchant account rather than separate processing for each lane.
Chapter 03
EZ Trak, lane control and loyalty programs
For the auto dealer market, EZ Trak is a drive-up entry system designed to control costs while securing access to the wash. Lane control systems increase throughput and optimize wash use by guiding motorists with a barrier gate to the entrance. Unitec's customer loyalty and marketing programs offer several ways to sell more washes, more often, and to new customers, and any program can be customized to the site.
DMI sells, installs and services every one of these Unitec systems out of the Fargo office, and preventative visits catch a slow reader or a stuck bill acceptor before it costs a lane a day's revenue.
