Airlift Doors, Inc. has been manufacturing car wash openers for over 25 years, built specifically for the wet, corrosive conditions inside a wash bay. That's a different design problem than a garage opener: chain, chemical spray and constant humidity will chew through hardware that isn't made for it. Airlift's line is built around the power, speed and reliability an operator needs from a door that opens and closes on every single wash.

Powerglide, Magnaglide and Standard: three ways to drive the door
The Powerglide Air Operator is stainless steel with a direct drive operation, built to outperform in the harsh carwash environment and available in custom sizes for a nonstandard opening. The Magnaglide Opener is Airlift's premium air opener: a direct drive unit guaranteed not to jump door cables, with no limits to set and very little maintenance required.
The Standard Air Opener has been a favorite for years. It comes with anodized aluminum tubes and stainless steel brackets, and a waterproof chain option is available for the car wash environment. Built-in air flow controls give cushioned stops at the top and bottom for easy, fast operation.
Chapter 03
Controls, safety and sizing the whole system
DMI offers a range of control options to match the bay: single-door control boxes mounted inside the bay, or multi-door controls mounted in the equipment room for a tunnel or multi-bay site. A door can be made fully automatic with in-ground loop detectors, photo eyes and timers, and there are numerous safety options available on top of that.
